What We Offer
We manufacture two main timber sash window types, each built to your exact specifications. Both are available in multiple glazing formats and timber options.
You can choose a modern hidden spiral balance system, where the mechanism is concealed inside the frame, or opt for a traditional cords and weights design. Both options are available with double glazing as standard. If your project involves a listed property or a conservation area, we also offer vacuum glazing or single glazing to meet stricter planning requirements.
All our timber sash windows are manufactured in Europe using engineered timber for strength and dimensional stability. Standard lead time is around 8 weeks, or 10–12 weeks for vacuum glazing.

Glazing Options for Every Project
Double Glazing (Standard)
Our standard unit offers excellent thermal performance, with centre-pane U-values from 1.2 W/m²K. It’s suitable for most residential projects and comes with a laminated option if additional safety or security is needed. An energy test certificate is available on request.
Vacuum Glazing (Upgrade)
This ultra-slim glazing option delivers centre-pane U-values as low as 0.4 W/m²K while closely matching the appearance of single glazing. It’s ideal for listed buildings and conservation areas where visual authenticity and insulation are both priorities. Lead time for vacuum units is typically 10–12 weeks.
Single Glazing
For projects requiring a traditional appearance, we also offer 4mm single glazing. This is suitable for properties in strict conservation areas and can be supplied with a putty-glazed or bead-glazed finish, depending on your specification.
Glass Types Available Across All Formats:
Where supported by the glazing type, you can choose from the following glass options:
Laminated Glass – For safety and improved security
Acoustic Glass – Helps reduce external noise, ideal for urban locations
Reeded Glass – For a decorative finish with partial obscurity
Satin Obscure Glass – Provides full privacy with a frosted appearance, often used for bathrooms
We’ll guide you through these choices during the design process, or you can contact us if you need help specifying glass for your property or planning conditions.

Ironmongery Finishes
We offer a range of ironmongery finishes, included as part of your order. You’ll be able to choose your preferred finish when configuring your window online.
Available finishes include:
Polished Chrome (default)
Satin Chrome
Polished Brass
Matt Black
Antique Brass
Satin Brass
Oil Rubbed Bronze
Locks, lifts, restrictors, and sash pulls are all colour-matched.
Choose the Right Opening System
We offer two sash window types depending on your project’s needs.
Hidden Spiral Balance Timber Sash Windows
The spiral mechanism is built into the frame, allowing for a clean look and simpler installation. This option is ideal for modern refurbishments or projects requiring PAS 24 security compliance.
Cords and Weights Timber Sash Windows
This traditional mechanism uses sash weights and pulleys, making it ideal for heritage and conservation settings. The visible frame proportions and movement replicate the original style of period properties.

Engineered Timber Built to Last
All sash windows are made from multi-layer engineered timber, which improves strength and minimises movement over time. You can choose from the following species:
Redwood Pine
Meranti
Sapele
Oak
Accoya (recommended for long-term performance)
Accoya is a modified timber that offers excellent durability and stability. If longevity and minimal maintenance are priorities, we recommend this as the best choice. Read more about Accoya timber here.
